This Bitwig tutorial clip covers how to use the MIDI CC Note FX device to control parameters on external hardware synths. Up to 128 parameters can be addressed via MIDI CC, as long as your synth supports it, which you can confirm in its MIDI implementation chart.
Once you locate the correct CC number for the parameter you want, you set it on the device knob and you're in business. From there you can automate that parameter by drawing curves directly in the piano roll, or assign the knob to a hardware controller and record automation in real time.
This approach surfaces parameters that are normally buried in menus or behind shift buttons, giving you hands-on control without touching the synth itself. The whole setup can be saved as a preset, and the Flush function lets you push all stored CC values to the synth whenever you reload it.
