This Bitwig tutorial covers two quick but essential operations inside the Note editor: switching between the piano roll and drum editor views, and quantizing live-recorded MIDI. Pressing F on the keyboard toggles between the full piano roll and the drum editor, which filters the display down to only the pitches that actually have MIDI data on them.
Quantization is accessed through the Note menu at the top. After selecting all notes with Cmd+A, the Quantize dialog lets you set a grid resolution and choose whether to snap the start, end, or both. Quantizing only the Start moves each note's attack to the nearest grid division without changing its length, which is usually the right call for tightening up a live performance without making it feel mechanical.
