Echo basics: linking delay lines, tempo sync, and input gain

Ableton's Echo device opens with three foundational controls that shape every delay sound you build from it. The left and right delay lines can be linked or unlinked, letting you run the same delay on both channels or treat them independently for a wider, asymmetric effect.

Delay time syncs to the project tempo or runs free in milliseconds, and the Input dial sets the gain of the dry signal going into the device.
