MusicTechHelpGuy breaks down two quick region-editing moves in Logic Pro. The first is splitting: park the playhead where you want a cut, select your region, and hit Command-T to slice it instantly, no grid snap required.
This makes it easy to isolate and delete unwanted sections, then close the gaps left behind.
The second move is selecting non-adjacent regions. Hold Shift and click multiple regions, scattered or not, then drag them together and they keep their relative spacing.
Hold Option while doing this and you duplicate the selection instead of moving it, all snapped to your current grid value.
