Ableton's Learn Live series covers the Linked Track Editing feature, which lets you apply edits across multiple tracks simultaneously. The main use case is multi-mic recordings, like a drum kit captured across several mics, where every edit needs to stay in sync.
Linking tracks in Arrangement View takes a single right-click. Once linked, a small icon appears on each track, and selecting any clip in the group highlights all of them together.
From there, a wide range of edits propagate across all linked tracks at once: splitting and deleting selections, reversing audio, adding fades and crossfades, and renaming clips. Warp markers and warp parameters are also shared, so timing adjustments stay consistent across every track in the group.
