Ableton Live's Arrangement View hides a handful of shortcuts that keep busy sessions readable. Press U to fold or unfold selected tracks, or hold Alt on PC (Option on Mac) and press U to fold or unfold every track in the set at once, turning a cluttered timeline into a quick overview.
When tracks end up at mismatched heights from resizing waveforms or automation lanes, H snaps them all back to an even size that fits the screen. W does the same for zoom level, pulling the full arrangement into view whenever you've drifted too far into one section and lost track of the bigger picture.
For playback, Cmd+Shift+F on Mac or Ctrl+Shift+F on Windows turns on auto-scroll, keeping the display moving with the playhead instead of leaving it stuck off to the side while the track plays on.
