This short excerpt from Ableton's Learn Live series maps out the modulation architecture inside the Wavetable synthesizer. It identifies the five internal modulation sources available in the device: three envelopes and two LFOs.
Beyond those internal sources, Wavetable also accepts MIDI and MPE modulation inputs, both of which can be driven by a hardware controller or automated directly through the Envelope section of a MIDI clip. All three source types can run simultaneously.
