Ableton's Learn Live series closes out its Wavetable modulation tutorial by covering two global controls that let you scale the entire modulation matrix at once. Global Amount adjusts the intensity of every modulator simultaneously, with lower values pulling back the overall effect and higher values pushing it further. Global Time shifts the speed of all envelopes and LFOs together, where negative values make them run faster and positive values slow them down.
Both controls can themselves be added as targets in the Modulation Matrix, which means you can modulate the modulators, opening up expressive, macro-style control over your patch's movement.
