Instead of always falling straight down, balls can be aimed left, right, or set to a fully randomized direction, giving generated patterns a sense of motion rather than pure vertical bounce.
Drop height is controlled with a slider, but the more useful move is linking it to incoming note velocity. Crank that to 100% and a hard-hit key drops its ball from the top of the grid, while a soft touch starts near the bottom, so your playing dynamics directly shape the rhythmic pattern.
The Freeze button locks every ball in place instantly, a fast way to create stutters and glitch effects on the fly. On collision with the floor or sides, balls can simply bounce back, wrap to their original drop point, randomize to a new position, or get deleted entirely when they hit the sides, each option producing a different flavor of evolving, semi-controlled chaos in the generated pattern.
