Ableton Live lets you turn an entire project setup into your default starting point, not just individual tracks or devices. Build out a Live Set exactly how you like to start sessions: audio, MIDI, and return tracks loaded with the devices you always reach for.
Once that's arranged, open Preferences, go to the File Folder tab, and select Save Current Set as Default. Every new Live Set will now open with that full template already in place, skipping the routine setup work at the start of every session.
If your workflow changes down the line, you can clear the default at any time from the same preferences menu, giving you the flexibility to rebuild your template as your process evolves.
