Snapping MIDI timing into place with quantize

Bad Snacks demonstrates how to use Ableton's Transform Quantize to fix imperfect MIDI timing after recording. With all notes selected via Command A, the shortcut Command Shift U opens the quantize window, where snapping to a 16th-note grid locks everything into place instantly.

This is one of the most common post-recording cleanup steps in any MIDI-based workflow, and the 16th-note grid works well for chord parts where rhythmic precision matters more than feel.
