This Ableton Live tutorial covers three quick but essential session organization shortcuts: keyboard navigation in Session View, track grouping, and resetting parameters to their defaults.
To move around Session View without touching the mouse, click any empty clip slot and use the arrow keys. Press Enter to start or stop whichever clip or stop button is highlighted.
To group tracks, select the leftmost track, hold Shift and click the rightmost, then press Cmd+G on Mac or Ctrl+G on PC. To reset any parameter to its default value, double-click it or press Backspace/Delete.
