Mastering.com's Logic Pro walkthrough uses Sample Alchemy to turn one plain sample into a shifting, cinematic drone by running up to four independently programmed synthesis engines on the same source.
Each node gets a different character: one stays granular, another goes spectral with blur, a third gets pushed into metallic territory, and Alchemy's internal mixer blends between them.
Recording eight bars of automated motion across that mixer lets the sound morph continuously between the four textures instead of sitting static, then the take gets trimmed and looped.
A final layer of reverb turns the result into a lush, evolving atmosphere, a useful move for ambient beds or cinematic underscore built from almost any starting sample.
